What started out as a simple sketch sort of got out of hand and transcended into a full on illustration. It was fun trying to get the webs to look like webs without them looking too realistic. My little boy kept asking about the spider and if he could go to where "...the lady..." is so he can see the rest of her "house". If I managed to get him to wonder about the rest of her place, then mission accomplished. hehehe.

Several years ago, I had a Character Design class where the professor had us assimilate the styles of other artists like Phil Bourassa, Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, and Steven Silver (just to name a few), to help us better understand the simplicity of "drawing for animation" and he had us draw a lot...I mean... A LOT. Here, I shall post all the drawings, sketches and rendered.
Here are a couple to start with:
More on the way, I have to change them up to JPEGS first... and, like previously mentioned, there are a lot.
